Preparation time: 5 min. Total time: 35 min.
Ingredients (for 3 people):
- 1 vacherin Mont d'Or, approx. 600g
- 2 cloves of garlic
- dry white Jura wine
- 600g potatoes
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Steam (or boil) the potatoes in the same way as for a raclette.
Unwrap the Mont d'Or, but leave it in its wooden tray. Place in a small dish to protect your oven: it may overflow a little during cooking.
Chop the garlic cloves and stick them into the cheese. Pour a generous amount of white wine directly on top and bake for about half an hour, until the cheese is gratinated and runny.
Pour over chopped potatoes and enjoy!
Tips:
Use cider or beer instead of white wine.
